Absolutely amazingly delicious food. Chef Abyssinia catered my daughter’s birthday party for about 50 people last weekend and everyone loved her food. This is my second event she catered. Her salmon is so good, ribs is made to perfection, seasonal veggies is the best veggies you will ever have, even the pickiest eaters will love it. You get the idea, everything she makes is phenomenal. Her and her team are very friendly and professional and pay attention to detail and she’s very easy to work with. She will be my go to for any event that I have

It has been almost 4 weeks since Chef A and her team served their carefully curated menu of small plates at my birthday party, and my friends and family are still raving! One friend even went so far as to say Chef A's food was so good, he'd "follow her to any restaurant where she works!"
Chef A was open to my feedback, patiently tailored a menu specific to my theme and budget, and more than delivered on presentation, flavor, and taste. In addition to the delicious eats, Chef A and her team truly delivered on warm welcomes, smiles, and friendliness, making me feel like I received a unique experience personal to me and my tastes.

We had a wonderful experience working with Chef Abyssinia, who prepared a memorable vegetarian tasting menu for an 8-guest dinner party at my home. The food was incredible, with gorgeous presentation and a perfectly paced service. Everything about the process was convenient and enjoyable because of her pleasant, joyful nature, from developing the menu, to the food prep and cleanup. Abyssinia is a consumate professional with an extremely high acumen for preparing meals with wonderful flavor while observing and honoring dietary restrictions. My family had the lamb chops, sea bass, snapper and herbed chicken. Everything was prepared to perfection including the vegetable side dishes. Drop of was smooth and clear directions were on containers for reheating. Everything was done supremely well and I have gone ahead and shared her information and service many times over already. I will DEFINITELY be using her Chef service again. The quality is unmatched and her personality is lovely as well!

Chef Abyssinia was terrific! I set up a cooking class for 4 people for my wife's birthday. The food was delicious, she did an excellent job working with my wife and two adult kids, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The communication in advance and payment process was seamless, and she texted me on the way to let me know she was running a few minutes late, so she's obviously responsible and conscientious. I recommend her highly and will definitely plan on using her again.

Chef Abyssinia is incredible. In addition to being absolutely delightful and a wonderful person, she is a truly exceptional chef. Everything she does is done with incredible attention to detail. Her food is beautifully presented, delicious and inventive. I cannot say enough good about her. This is our second time using her to cook dinner for us on Christmas Eve. We cannot even decide which meal was better: this year or last year. Chef Abyssinia and I worked together to plan the menu both times. She listened, responded creatively and both times, we ended up with menus that were amazing- as good as anything we would have in a very high end restaurant in NY. She also serves and cleans up, so it was an all-around delightful experience. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I highly recommend Chef Abyssinia and her team! The chef prepared an amazing four course meal for my friend’s bachelorette party. The food was incredible as well as the service. We had Chef Abyssinia come to our house for my 60th birthday party. We had 10 people for dinner. She arrived on time, had our hors d'oeuvres ready at the time we had specified and they were delicious. Shrimp tostadas, polenta bites with goat cheese and wild mushrooms, and duck foie gras wontons.
Dinner was perfectly paced after that. We started with scallops au gratin, followed by surf and turf (lobster and steak were great) with a croissant bread pudding to finish. When we finished one course, she had the next one hot and ready, but we never felt rushed at all. The food was high end restaurant quality.
She made herself comfortable in the kitchen, and once she brought all her supplies in, and I briefly showed her around the kitchen, she was off and cooking. She left the kitchen clean and the dishes washed. It was a very special evening for us all. Thank you Chef Abyssinia!
